Her clinical work includes comprehensive functional and sensory assessments, assessment and provision of specialist equipment, seating and postural management and interventions aimed at developing motor coordination, self-regulation and independent living skills. She takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach, recognising the importance of understanding each individual’s sensory, emotional, communication and physical needs.
Passionate about enabling choice and promoting meaningful participation, Rosie is committed to supporting individuals to access daily activities, education, relationships and environments in a way that feels safe, empowering and achievable. She places strong emphasis on communication and collaborative practice, ensuring that the voices of individuals and families remain central throughout the assessment and intervention process. Rosie has had additional training and experience in Intensive Interaction and makaton, which she integrates into her practice to support connection, engagement and accessible communication. Rosie is passionate about the role of play in supporting learning, emotional development, regulation and relationship building.
Alongside her clinical work, Rosie is passionate about driving positive change within occupational therapy and sensory integration practice. She is currently completing her MSc degree in Advancing Clinical Practice for Sensory Integration, further strengthening her evidence-based and specialist approach. Additionally, Rosie has had further training and experience in Autism & Eating Disorders, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT), Hearing & Vision Less for Individuals with a Learning Disability and The Therapeutic Value of Play.
