As a Postgraduate Certified SI Practitioner, Lorna has advanced skills in sensory assessment, SI intervention and the development of personalised sensory strategies and sensory diets. Lorna was also involved in the Scottish normative data collection for The Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration® (EASI), reflecting her ongoing commitment to evidence-based practice and the continued development of SI assessment and intervention.
Alongside her clinical practice, Lorna designs and delivers specialist training relating to autism, sensory processing and neurodevelopmental differences for a wide range of audiences including families, education staff, health professionals, local authority teams and care providers. She is passionate about empowering others through accessible, practical and evidence-based training that increases understanding and supports positive change across everyday environments.
Lorna is known for her warm, compassionate and collaborative approach. She places strong importance on building trusting relationships and ensuring individuals and families feel genuinely heard, understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
