Jenny is a specialist OT with extensive expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of complex neurological conditions including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries and progressive neurological diseases. Since qualifying with a first class honours, Jenny has developed her skills within the community, acute hospitals, major trauma networks and tertiary services across London and the South East. Her experience in these settings together with her role as a neurosciences team lead ensure her practice is defined by advanced clinical reasoning, compassionate person-centred care and a commitment to enabling independence and participation for individuals navigating life altering neurological changes.

Jenny brings comprehensive assessment skills across cognitive function, upper limb deficits, communication and functional performance. She utilises a range of standardised and non-standardised tools alongside her clinical expertise to build a thorough understanding of how neurological impairment is impacting an individual's activities of daily living. She provides specialist interventions tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Skilled in the management of spasticity and tone, Jenny utilises specialist techniques such as splinting, upper limb functional electrical stimulation (FES) and positioning/posture management. Additionally, Jenny provides expert guidance on wheelchair requirements, environmental adaptations, and community access, ensuring her interventions translate into real-world independence and quality of life.
Jenny has comprehensive experience of risk assessment and management, working within the legislative framework of the Mental Capacity Act inclusive of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). Her assessments are meticulous and evidence-based, always prioritising her clients' safety and best interests within these legislative frameworks.
Jenny demonstrates genuine compassion and empathy, building timely rapport with individuals, families and carers during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Whether supporting someone going through acute neurological diagnosis, disease progressions, or traumatic injury, she creates person-centred goals to focus on enablement, hope and realistic pathways to independence. Jenny brings excellent organisational and time management skills alongside her advanced clinical abilities. She is passionate about mentoring students and junior colleagues, sharing her knowledge and expertise with a strong focus on continued professional development. She is deeply committed to inclusivity, equity, and enablement in her delivery of person-centred occupational therapy, making a lasting difference to the lives of those she supports.
