A person centred, highly motivated OT who is passionate in supporting adults to achieve their occupational goals, independence and quality of life. Elisha has extensive experience within the NHS and private sectors serving legal cases, private clients, charities and local authorities. She displays professional confidence and is enthusiastic in supporting individuals to achieve meaningful lives and their personal goals.
Specialising in long-term neurological conditions, Elisha provides expert intervention in physical rehabilitation, major adaptations, equipment provision, complex moving and handling, posture and seating, vocational rehabilitation, and fatigue management. Based on her specialism, Elisha also has extensive experience supporting individuals with symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety and breathlessness.
Elisha has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2012 and has experience within the specialist areas of Complex Neurology, Cancer Care and Palliative care. She has experience working with various complex conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Multiple Sclerosis (PD), Huntington’s Disease (HD), Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and a variety of Oncology and Haematology conditions.

Elisha is known for her warm and empathetic manner; this is reflected within her work with individuals and their caregivers. Priding herself on her excellent communication skills, Elisha has worked with a range of individuals who have experienced life changing disabilities and poor prognosis, displaying confidence and reassurance through communication. She has experience of working with individuals with nonverbal communication, utilising communication aids such as eye gaze systems and communication boards.Â
Elisha has experience of working in a number of settings from inpatient wards, palliative care units, multidisciplinary clinics and within the community supporting individuals in their own homes or residential homes. Much of her experience has been gained within the community setting; she has worked across diverse geographic regions and made extensive use of various community services. She has experience of responding to urgent situations in the community and has often prevented hospital admission and carer breakdown. Elisha is a diligent practitioner and is a lifelong learner who is always keen to further develop her knowledge and skills to best support her clients.
