Diagnoses and Conditions
treated with Occupational Therapy & Sensory Integration Therapy

intro

(consider making the point that Occupational Therapists and Sensory Integration Practitioners are principally concerned with helping people manage the Difficulties they face but an individual's Diagnoses and Conditions must be considered as a factor in determining which OT Specialism is best suited to a clients needs)

it is important to understand that your Client's Sensory Difficulties will almost certainly present alongside Diagnoses and Conditions which do not necessarily determine Sensory Processing Difficulties but do however have a significant bearing on your client's overall Occupational performance, abilities and potential. We therefore assert that an SI Practitioner with a background in an OT Specialism concerned with your Client's wider Diagnoses and Conditions presents obvious advantages.
