A highly motivated Occupational Therapist providing high quality therapy services to children and young adults. Alison is an excellent verbal and written communicator, widely described by colleagues as hard working and respected, friendly, honest, professional, caring, sensible, extremely reliable and calm in a crisis. She is known for her ability to find practical solutions to complex problems and for her commitment to continually evolve her clinical practice.

Alison’s previous roles include basic grade rotations at a district general hospital in Buckinghamshire, working with patients with bone and joint infections on a specialist unit at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, working as a multidisciplinary team leader for a busy, central London early supported discharge team and working as a team leader in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.

Alison is committed to the education of future OTs and she has actively mentored OT students throughout her career, including participating on student selection panels at Oxford Brookes University
